Swampscott martial arts center offering special family classes Oct. 24, Nov. 14

SWAMPSCOTT – The United Martial Arts Center, now located behind Marshall’s in Vinnin Square, Swampscott, will offer special family martial arts classes on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. and on Nov. 14 at 11:30 a.m. These classes are open to all students and the community and will allow parents and children to take a martial arts lesson together.The Oct. 24 class is a kick-off for the center’s fundraiser for the Marblehead Animal Shelter. For a donation in any amount, one can attend one of these special family classes or choose to attend a regularly scheduled adult or children’s class during the three weeks between the special family classes.One-, two- and four-week gift certificates will also be offered for a donation.
