LYNN – The annual Greater Lynn Photographic Association member exhibit opens with a reception for the photographers on Saturday at the LynnArts gallery from 2-4 p.m.Gallery hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.The show, which contains color and black-and-white photographs along with special effects images, draws hundreds of visitors each year to the gallery at 25 Exchange St. in Central Square.LynnArts Executive Director Susan Halter said the show is comprised of 745 images.”The show will include artists from Lynn and surrounding cities, including Ken Jordan, Terri Kay and Dave Parsons of Lynn, and Marilyn and Rick Cloran of Swampscott. Visitors will be treated with scenes of familiar places like Fenway Park and the Leonard Zakim Bridge, as well as unfamiliar places members have traveled across the country to capture,” she said.Artists from the Greater Lynn Arts & Crafts Society will also exhibit their work in the Willow Community Gallery during the photo show. The society features paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor along with other fine art media and crafts.
