CHELSEA – For the first time in its history, the West Lynn Pop Warner football program won two Eastern Mass. titles in the same season.Both the A and B Squads won their playoff games Wednesday night at Chelsea Stadium.The A team, coached by Dennis Murphy, defeated Chelsea, 25-19, thanks to touchdowns from James Belmar and Antonio Quintana.The B team, coached by Maurice Cordy, defeated Newton, 13-8, with TDs from Eli McConey and Jaylen Wiggins.The B team is in action Saturday at Manchester, N.H., against Concord, N.H.There are no details at this time on the A team’s next game.The East Lynn B squad, coached by Duke Wilson, is back in action tonight at Malden Catholic’s Brother Gilbert Stadium (Crystal Street), and will play Malden for the EMass title.
