NAHANT-Nahant and Peabody have scheduled H1N1 flu vaccine clinics this week for their students.Nahant will hold its H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. at Town Hall for students 24 years and under.The Peabody Public Schools and Peabody Health Department have announced that H1N1 flu vaccine clinics will be offered to students in the Higgins Middle School the week of Nov. 30, and in the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School the week of Dec. 7.Only students with signed parental consent forms on file will be offered the vaccine at these clinics. Consent forms were sent home with all students on Nov. 13. For a copy of the form, stop by the Health Department office in City Hall, 24 Lowell St., or download the forms at www.peabody-ma.gov.All signed consent forms must be returned to the school nurse or to the Health Department by Monday, Nov. 30.The Peabody Health Department will continue to announce flu clinics for other members of the public as additional vaccine becomes available.For the most current information on vaccine availability, please contact the City of Peabody’s Flu Information line at 978-538-5758.
