The Daily ItemLOWELL – Anthony Bourdain is not for the weak of stomach or the faint of heart, but if you like food and adventure in the same sentence you’ll like Bourdain, who brings his Travel Channel Show to the Lowell Memorial Theater Saturday night.In his show, “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations,” Bourdain cruises around the world visiting both the culinary familiar and out-of-the-way crazy spots in search of the ultimate dining experience. Along with chowing on delicacies like eyeball tacos from Mexico, he also points out local customs and culture.In his spare time Bourdain is also the executive chef at New York’s Les Halles and has shared his blunt observations on life in the restaurant world’s “back of the house” or kitchen, fellow chefs, cooking and life in general. He is also author of the bestselling book, “Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly” and “A Cook’s Tour.”His literary work has also appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times and Gourmet magazines. And he has shared his acquired businesses knowledge regarding team building and crisis management with the Harvard Business Review.Tickets are still available for the one night 8 p.m. show.
