LYNN – A Lynn man was arraigned on Friday for allegedly being connected to numerous car break-ins off Eastern Avenue.Michael Shungu, 31, of 333 Chatham St., was arrested at 7:07 a.m. on Friday after police received a citizen’s report of a suspicious person walking up driveways on Gilbert Street, police said. Shungu was found to have several GPS devices, portable DVD players and other items in his possession and admitted he was the person checking car doors.Shungu was charged with receiving stolen property, larceny over $250, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, possession of burglarious tools and larceny of credit cards and was held on $1,000 cash bail on Friday. He is also suspected to have possibly committed several break-ins and thefts recently.Any person who believes they may have been victimized is asked to call Lynn Police Detectives Paul Galatis or Stephen Pohle at 781-595-2000 in order to be reunited with their property.
