LYNN – A man living in Lynn with two known aliases and three false birthdates was arraigned on Friday in Lynn District Court on charges stemming from trafficking in heroin.William Alicea, 39, also known as Osvaldo Fuentes and “Jose,” of 46 Wyman St., was arrested at 3:27 p.m. on Thursday as part of an ongoing heroin distribution investigation. Essex Narcotics had made two previous heroin purchases through undercover officers and made plans with Alicea, going by the name Jose, to purchase 30 grams valued at $2,1000. He was arrested without incident after completing the deal on Chatham Street.While being booked at the Lynn police station, Alicea gave two 1972 birthdays to officers that were not his. He was discovered to have a false 1970 birthday used with his Fuentes alias, under which officers found a warrant out of Worcester Superior Court for distribution of a Class B substance (cocaine). Alicea was also found to have a parole violation warrant out of California as a result of an arrest with 15 kilograms of cocaine obtained in California to be taken to New York.Alicea was charged with two counts of distributing a Class A substance, trafficking heroin in excess of 28 grams, three counts of a drug violation near a school and being a fugitive from justice. He was held without bail and will be back in court for a pre-trial hearing on Feb. 16.
