LYNN – Mark A. King, owner of Marion Street Auto Body, reached a milestone in December with 20 years in business at his 44 Marion St. shop and has built a reputation among the top in the region for quality repair work and comprehensive customer service.King expanded his business last summer to include a full service and repair shop, Mark A. King LLS Auto Service & Repair, at 99 Rear Cottage St.”When someone is in an accident we’ll guide them through the entire process. We work with a tow company, help customers arrange for a rental car ? and we can fix any make and model: Jaguars, BMWs, Hondas, Chevys, we repair them all.”We make them look beautiful and give them back,” King said, noting that “quality work and honesty” have been the keys to his success over two decades. And for King, that success goes back even further at his Marion Street location.”I started working here in 1976 for the original owner, Louis Goudreau, up until Louis passed in the early 1980s. I moved on to car dealerships and got into management, and the last place I was at was Sea Crest Cadillac on the Lynnway, where I ran the body shop division. I acquired this place in December of 1989 and from the start I’ve been very fortunate,” King said.King employs five auto body technicians at Marion Street Auto Body and has a full-time certified mechanic at the Cottage Street shop.”I’m back and forth between both locations every day and I spend a lot of my time working with the customers,” said King, who added that his shops work closely with all auto insurance companies doing business in Massachusetts. “We’ve always generated positive replies and I give my personal guarantee on all work,” he said.Marion Street Auto Body and Mark King Auto Service and Repair can be reached at 781-592-7001. Both shops are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
