Lynn teen indicted in murder

LYNN – The Lynn teenager accused of fatally assaulting another teen in Gallagher Playground Feb. 12 was indicted on murder charges in Salem Superior Court on Friday.Daryll Jones, 17, of 11 Marianna St., is accused of stabbing Huy Le, 19, of Whiting Street in the Pine Hill playground. He originally pleaded innocent to the charge on Feb. 24 in Lynn District Court and was ordered held without bail. Jones was an 11th-grader at Fecteau-Leary Junior/ Senior High School, an alternative program for students at risk.”(Jones) did assault and beat Huy Le with intent to murder him and by such assault and beating did murder Huy Le,” the indictment read.Judge Ellen Flatley of the Lynn District Court impounded the police report and search warrants for the case in February, barring the documents from public viewing.
