SWAMPSCOTT-The Allo Allo Cafe at 242 Humphrey St. is scheduled to open Tuesday morning.Vida Vasic, who owns the business with her husband Pedja, secured all the necessary permits from the town last week.?It’s a gourmet coffee shop,” she said. “We’ll sell different varieties of gourmet coffees and baked goods.”The Everett resident said the business would be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.Vasic said the establishment would purchase its baked goods from Iggy’s Bakery in Cambridge.She explained the name was derived from a British Broadcasting Corporation sitcom.?My husband is from Bosnia and I lived in Europe for quite a few years,” she said. The show (Allo Allo) was very popular there and it was set in a cafe, so we thought it would be a good name for our cafe.”Vasic said they are looking forward to doing business in Swampscott and serving up gourmet coffees and baked goods to area residents.
