SWAMPSCOTT – The Swampscott man who has been charged with 20 counts of statutory rape of a child and 20 counts of procuring alcohol for a minor remains behind bars following a court appearance Tuesday.Robert Kincaid, 38, of 55 Berkshire St., was ordered to remain held without bail by Judge Richard Mori following a dangerousness hearing at Lynn District Court. He has a bail hearing set for Thursday.Kincaid is said to have raped a 14-year-old girl multiple times and is also accused of but has yet to be charged with giving vodka to a 10-year-old boy and twice sexually assaulting a second girl.Police continue to investigate those allegations. If convicted, rape of a child carries up to a life sentence.According to a Swampscott police report, the 14-year-old victim reported her ordeal to police earlier this month with her parents and told detectives that between July 2009 and last month, Kincaid would give her vodka and then have sex with her.The underage girl told police the assaults happened at Kincaid’s Berkshire Street house, where she went for sleepovers with a girl who lives with him. A total of 20 incidents of statutory rape are alleged.Swampscott police also received a report on March 18 from a 13-year-old boy who said Kincaid gave him vodka when he was 10-years-old, which he said made him violently ill.
