The Daily ItemDANVERS – On Tuesday, May 11, 2010, the North Shore Chamber will honor 298 top graduating high school seniors for their academic achievements at the 42nd Annual Honor Scholars Recognition Dinner. The sold-out recognition dinner will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Danvers.The honor scholars rank in the top five percent of their graduating classes. Sponsored by the region’s largest business organization, the North Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Annual Honor Scholars Recognition Dinner is among the most prestigious occasions for celebration of scholastic excellence in the area and has grown to honor seniors from 29 high schools on the North Shore.The North Shore Chamber of Commerce believes that the foundation of good business is good education and that recognizing those who excel provides incentive for young people to work to their highest potential.
