In the past, he taught high school science at Osseo High School in Minnesota, Winthrop High School and Marblehead High School. Menegoni has a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics and cell biology and a Master’s degree in science education from the University of Minnesota. He also has a Master’s degree in School Leadership from Harvard University.According to published reports, administrators from the Hamilton-Wenham District would be making site visits and checking candidate references this week. Superintendent Marinel McGrath said he expects a decision would be made by the end of the week.Mengoni said if he is offered the position in Hamilton-Wenham, he would not leave Swampscott before the end of the academic year.”I love Swampscott,” he said. “I’m certainly not unhappy here. But I live very close to the school and with young children it would be ideal.”
