LYNN-The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND) will hold the first of four classes for first-time homebuyers on June 3.Classes will be held in the community room at the agency’s 10 Church St. headquarters on Thursday, June 3; Thursday, June 10; Monday, June 14; and Thursday, June 24.Topics include the mortgage application process, home inspections, credit counseling, down payment assistance, and budgeting, according to Erin Ford, special projects coordinator at LHAND.The classes are being held in partnership with Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and the city.Pre-registration for the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative’s First-Time Homebuyer Education Program is required.
