Leading the Tech effort was Ramon Ramos and Jon Rijo.Ramos was the CAC champion in the triple jump with a first place leap of 40-7. Ramos also finished second in the 100 (11.2) and second in the 200 (23.7).Rijo finished second in the 400 (52.3) and third in the 200 (24.4).For the Tech girls, Arthina Robert placed second in both the 100 (13.7) and the 200 (28.5) in the Tigers’ sixth-place finish.Ramos, Rijo, and Robert all will compete next week in the Massachusetts state meet at Oliver Ames in North Easton.Beverly 88, Salem 47At Beverly, Ben Dibble was a one-man wrecking crew for the Witches (4-3) with firsts in the 400 hurdles (60.9, state qualifier); 110 hurdles (17.2) and the triple jump (40-3 1/2, state qualifier). Mike Venizia (16 saves) took care of things in net.Marblehead 8, Danvers 4At Marblehead, Jess Lipkind had a productive day for the Magicians, scoring four goals and assisting on one. Marblehead also had single goals from Jacob Maselek, Sam Tenny, Pat Grady and Matt Evans. Ellery Smith had three assists.
