SAUGUS – A Peabody man has been arrested on a Saugus police warrant for the May 4 robbery of the East Boston Savings Bank at 317 Main St.Domenic W. Screnci, 31, of 27 Raylem Ave., was arrested late Friday on warrants for unarmed robbery, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, marked lanes violation, two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and larceny of a motor vehicle.He is expected to be arraigned today at Lynn District Court.Saugus police Lt. Leonard Campanello said Screnci is thought to be connected to eight other bank robberies that have occurred on the North Shore, all of which remain under investigation.
