LYNN ?Five former and current North Shore Navigators were selected in the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft, which came to its conclusion on Wednesday.Four of the players were members of last season’s Navigators team that made the NECBL playoffs. Left handed pitcher Kevin Chapman was the highest player chosen, taken in the fourth round by the Kansas City Royals.Matthew Lewis was taken in round 10 by the Atlanta Braves while lefty Jason Markovitz out of Long Beach State was selected in the 13th round by the Seattle Mariners. Patrick Brady also went to the Mariners in the 48th round.Current Navs first baseman Ben Waldrip also was chosen by the Braves in the 42nd round of the draft.
