REVERE – The state prosecutor who helped send four defendants to prison for their role in the shooting death of off-duty Revere police officer Daniel Talbot was among those judicial officials to receive annual Suffolk Awards.Suffolk Assistant District Attorney Edward Krippendorf, a member of District Attorney Daniel Conley’s Homicide Unit, played a key role in convicting three young men and one young woman for their parts in Talbot’s murder on Sept. 29, 2007 in a field behind Revere High School.The Suffolk Awards, implemented by Conley when he took office, honor achievements by office staff during the previous year.Conley’s Gang Unit swept the seventh annual awards ceremony last week at Suffolk University in Boston. Assistant District Attorney Joseph Janezic, deputy chief of the Gang Unit, received the Brian J. Honan Award for Excellence in the Courtroom and the Communities We Serve.
