Summer hoop action continues

The following are results from summer basketball action at the Lynn English outdoor courts on Wednesday.In the girls middle school/high school division, Old Neighborhood defeated Neal A. Price, 36-33, with Catherine Stinson leading Old Neighborhood with 15 points.In the boys middle school division, there were two games: Eastern Bank defeated St. Michael’s Hall, 59-56, with Monte Wolfe leading St. Michael’s with 23 points and Billy Phang scoring a game-high 29 for Eastern Bank; and North Reading Bus Transportation defeated Lynn Housing Authority, 29-20, with Do Mong Kim of North Reading and Ronnie Williams of LHA each scoring a game-high 10 points.There were also two games in the boys high school division. Community Development defeated Columbia Insurance, 61-47, with Tyler McFadden of Columbia scoring a game-high 20 points and Community Development’s Keandre Standon leading his team with 17; and Mayor Kennedy defeated Lynn DPW, 68-66, with Mayor Kennedy’s Kwame Johnson scoring a game-high 22 and Wardell Barber leading Lynn DPW with 14 points.
