Parks & Rec hoop action features some close contests

The following are results from Lynn Parks & Recreation summer evening basketball league play at the Lynn English outside courts.In the grammar school boys division, Lynn City Council defeated Neal A. Price, 26-22. Styven Difo led Lynn City Council with 11 points, while three players – Abraham Diaz, David Sok and Adler Telfort – each had six for Neal A. Price.In the middle school boys division, there were two games: Lynn Housing Authority defeated St. Michael’s Hall, 49-36, with LHA’s Ronnie Williams and St. Michael’s Dejolie Tchoumi each scoring a game-high 14; and North Reading Bus Transportation defeated Eastern Bank, 37-35, with Eastern Bank’s Billy Phang leading all scorers with 19 and North Reading’s Ming Kim leading his team with 18.In the high school division, there were also two games: Mayor Kennedy defeated Community Development, 66-63, with Mayor Kennedy’s Quincy Imadyi leading all scorers with 17 and Community Development’s Keandre Stanton leading his team with 15; and Lynn DPW defeated Columbia Insurance, 66-48, with Lynn DPW’s Wardell Barber and Columbia’s Anthony Candelaria each scoring a game-high 19.
