Now, with the new rules in effect since Jan. 1, it’s time to take a fresh look at this potentially advantageous financial planning option.Financial expert Jack Bentley will discuss “How to Take Advantage of The Roth IRA,” followed by a question and answer session at the Abbot Public Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The talk will review the basics and help people determine if they should be taking advantage of this opportunity.Bentley has been in the financial services community since 1998. He gained experience at American Express Financial Advisors before founding his independent practice, Bentley Financial, in Marblehead in 2007.For more than a decade, he has provided investment and insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. He is fully licensed and registered in securities and insurance in Massachusetts. Bentley is a member of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and currently resides in town with his wife and two children.
