LYNN – The Downtown Lynn Neighborhood Association is hosting its third annual Neighbor Fest tonight at Tatiana’s restaurant at 70 Market St., starting at 7:30 p.m.Admission is $12, which covers appetizers, a custom music mix and a donation to the Lynn Time Bank – a service exchange networking organization – according to Soraya Cacici, an association organizer.”A portion of the ticket sales will go to the Lynn Time Bank. Last year, we sponsored the Food Project and the year before that Girls’ Inc.,” she said. “The whole idea of this event is to bring together residents living in downtown Lynn and all of Lynn, along with politicians, business owners and community leaders in a social atmosphere. We want to find out what other people want to talk about.”Raffle items include Lynn Memorial Auditorium event tickets, art work and gift certificates.Cacici noted that a discussion roundtable of former Lynn mayors will be held at the nearby Lynn Museum at the corner of Union and Washington streets from 6-7:30 p.m.”We’re hoping that everyone from that event comes to Tatiana’s when it’s over,” she said.
