PEABODY – Prosecutors in Dover, Del. say a local man has been indicted on charges of enticing and coercing a minor after a teenage girl from Peabody was found at his home late last winter.Richard Morgan, 26, was arrested March 30. Prosecutors announced his federal indictment on Wednesday.According to the indictment, Morgan began an online relationship with the 14-year-old girl in January. The indictment says Morgan arranged for a Canton man, Jonathan Sevieri, 27, to drive the girl from Massachusetts to Morgan’s home. She arrived there on March 27. She was found there on March 30 and Morgan was arrested.Sevieri was charged with one count of enticing a child.According to published reports, Sevieri and Morgan knew each other from an online “Star Trek” gaming site and Morgan and the victim were acquainted through online social networking.After the victim was reported missing, it was thought that she was headed to a Florida rendezvous with someone else she had met on a social networking site. Peabody police seized the computers in her family’s home and, upon examining them, concluded the girl was with Morgan.(Associated Press material was used in this report.)
