LYNN – Two alleged drug dealers were arrested in Lynn on Friday for trafficking Percocets with an approximate street value of $50,000.Roger Jones, 23, and his girlfriend Chrystalina Cruz, 23, both of 205 Highland Ave., Salem, were arrested and charged with trafficking class A Percocets over 200 grams, conspiracy to violate the drug laws and a school zone violation at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.According to Essex District Attorney’s spokesman Steve O’Connell, a postal inspector identified a suspicious package addressed to someone in Lynn and contacted investigators.In the package were approximately 2,000 Percocet tablets that were 30 milligrams each.The investigators then delivered the package to an unwitting woman who was apparently manipulated into accepting the package by Cruz. Investigators alerted the woman of the scenario and the woman contacted Cruz and told her to come get the package.Jones and Cruz along with her infant son arrived at the woman’s home to retrieve the package.After accepting the package from the woman, Jones and Cruz were immediately placed under arrest upon leaving the woman’s apartment building.According to O’Connell, Jones and Cruz are currently in custody at the Lynn Police Department and will be arraigned on Monday at Lynn District Court.
