Malden Catholic shook off the mid-season doldrums and defeated St. John’s Prep for the second time in two weeks, 7-4, Saturday at the Valley Forum in Malden. After an explosive start to their season, the Lancers had lost to Hingham and tied B.C. High in their two previous outings.After Colin Blackwell gave St. John’s a 2-1 lead at 6:09 of the second period, MC’s offense erupted for four goals in a span of 3:25 for a 5-2 advantage.
