SALEM – Bail for a Lynn felon, who is facing a mandatory 15-year prison term after allegedly being caught shooting a firearm, remains at $25,000 cash following his arraignment in Salem Superior Court.Stephen Lunden, Jr., 31, of 25 North Federal St., Lynn, pleaded innocent to carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and carrying a firearm without a license having been previously convicted of three or more violent crimes before Judge John T. Lu.The judge agreed to set the same bail amount as previously set at Lynn District Court at the joint recommendation of the prosecutor and defense.Lu also agreed to leave the door open for a bail review hearing at another court date.In the meantime, Lunden will have to come up with $25,000 cash in order to get out of the Middleton Jail pending his trial.The charges arise out of an incident in Lynn on the evening of Sept. 28 when Lunden allegedly shot a semi-automatic revolver on Lewis Street.A concerned citizen alerted police as he was driving down the street and heard a gunshot.Following an investigation, Lunden was arrested by police.
