SAUGUS – A scorned Saugus woman allegedly doused her ex-boyfriend with a bottle of urine on Valentine’s Day and later returned to his home with her mother, where they smashed his front door and the older woman allegedly kicked him in the groin.Shannon DiBartolomeo, 24, of 399 Lincoln Ave., was charged with domestic assault and battery, vandalism and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, urine and shod foot; Jill DiBartolomeo, 48, also of 399 Lincoln Ave., was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, shod foot.Both suspects were arraigned Monday at Lynn District Court by Judge Albert Conlon. Shannon was ordered held in lieu of $750, while Jill was released on personal recognizance. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 17.According to court documents, police responded to the 25-year-old victim’s home on Tuttle Street, on a report of a breaking and entering and assault. Upon arrival, the victim’s mother alleged that Shannon and her mother showed up at their home, where Jill allegedly yelled, “So, you like punching my daughter in the face?” and kicked the victim in his groin.As the victim tried to shut the glass front door, Shannon allegedly smashed the glass with a silver flashlight. According to the victim, he had ended a one-month relationship with Shannon two weeks ago, but said he was still friends with her and gave her daily rides to a methadone clinic.He said prior to their breakup, he had a conversation with her about her life, which he said she didn’t take too kindly. When he arrived at her home, he said, she refused to get out of his car, so he threw her purse out of the window with the hope she would leave.When that didn’t work, the victim said he tried to open the passenger side door so that he could push her out. At that point, Shannon allegedly turned sideways and began kicking him, and then got out of his car, pulled a small bottle of urine from her coat pocket, which she had brought to the clinic, and threw it at him.That move allegedly soaked both the victim’s clothing and the car’s dashboard. Then, 20 minutes later, Shannon and her mom showed up at his home. He claims he suffered an abrasion on his right knee and a wound to his right thumb.Police later arrested Shannon at her home after she claimed to have been there all morning and denied involvement, while Jill was found speeding away in her car on Central Street and arrested soon after.
