Amy Pelletier scored 29 points to lead the Bishop Fenwick girls basketball team to a 55-41 win over Notre Dame of Hingham Wednesday at Fenwick.With the win, the Crusaders only need one more win to qualify for the state tournament. Getting it, however, would be a challenge with St. Mary’s next on Friday, followed by Groton-Dunstable Sunday and Danvers Tuesday.”We came out with great intensity,” Fenwick coach Tim Harrington said. “And we kept it up the whole game. We played a good, solid game.”Sarah James had 15 points for Fenwick with 11 of them coming on 11-for-12 shooting from the free-throw line. She also had seven rebounds. Pelletier, who will be playing at Stonehill College next year, also had six assists.Saugus 53, Malden 35At Saugus, Emily Yanchun had 13 points for the Sachems (5-14) and Jackie Nicholas and Alyssa Furtado each had 10 points and 16 rebounds. Saugus trailed at the end of the first quarter, but once the Sachems grabbed the lead, they didn’t relinquish it.
