PEABODY – Search warrants on three separate locations in Gloucester were executed by the Peabody Police Department around 4 p.m. on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into a recent shooting on Lowell Street in West Peabody.According to police, several items were seized during the operation but no arrests were made.The shooting occurred on Wednesday around 6 a.m.Police responded to a call of possible gunshots in the area of 604 Lowell St. and recovered multiple shell casings in the area. An unreported number of rounds struck a garage structure on 611 Lowell St.Police say there were no reported injuries.Assisting the Peabody Police Department were officers from the Gloucester Police Department, Beverly Police Department, Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC), SWAT team and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).At this time, the Peabody Police Department does not believe the shooting was a random act.The Peabody Police are working closely with other local and federal law enforcement agencies on the investigation.
