Marblehead Fireworks Committee needs cash for July 4th celebration

MARBLEHEAD – Donations are still being sought for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks display.Marblehead Fireworks Committee Chairman Alexander Faulk says that numerous donations have arrived in response to the letters sent out with the annual mooring permit bills but “We still need some money.”Residents and business owners may send their tax-deductible donations to the selectmen’s office with “Fireworks” on the memo line.The annual display will be at the mouth of the harbor on Monday, July 4, with a rain date of Tuesday, July 5.The Harbor Illumination starts at 8:45 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9.The display will be provided by Atlas PyroVision Productions Inc.
