LYNN – A late-night burger craving at Wendy?s turned ugly on Saturday after a car bumped another in the drive-through line, triggering a bloody brawl.According to Lt. Dave Brown, Officer Ed Monahan was on patrol in the area of the fast food restaurant at 116 Boston St., around 2 a.m., when he saw a fight in the parking lot.?There, he observed two large males fighting with two smaller male parties,” he said. “One of the larger males had an object in his hand, which turned out to be some type of shaving instrument.”At that point, Monahan ran over and ordered the four men to the ground at gunpoint until additional officers arrived on scene.Two of the four men were charged: Christopher Wilson, 38, of 100 Newhall St., #6, Lynn, with armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, shaving instrument, assault and battery in the presence of a police officer, disorderly conduct; Carousse Aupont, 31, of 126 Union St., #11, Lynn, charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer and disorderly conduct.Both are expected to be arraigned today at Lynn District Court.The victims, Lynn men ages 21 and 25, were taken to Salem Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.?Officer Monahan?s actions undoubtedly prevented a tragedy,” Brown said.
