SALEM – A Lynn felon who was allegedly caught with firearms, ammunition and heroin remains held at the Middleton Jail on $100,000 cash following his arraignment on two Lynn cases.Boramy Thoeun, 20, of 167 North Common St., #30, Lynn, appeared in Salem Superior Court Tuesday and pleaded innocent to trafficking over 14 grams of heroin, two counts of possession of a large capacity weapon, possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of ammunition, carrying a firearm without a license and being a felon in possession of a firearm.Judge Timothy Q. Feeley agreed to continue the high bail with the option that the defense can petition for a bail hearing at another court date.On Nov. 5, police went to his apartment with an arrest warrant and allegedly discovered about 22 grams of heroin along with a .357 caliber Luger firearm and various calibers of ammunition.Because Thoeun has a prior conviction for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a handgun, he faces a 15-year mandatory penalty if convicted on the charge of a felon in possession of a firearm. He also faces a minimum mandatory five years in state prison on the drug trafficking charge.He is due back in court on May 11 for a pretrial conference.Assistant District Attorney John B.
