Boston Gay Men’s Chorus at Lynn Auditorium April 30

The Daily ItemLYNN – The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus will present Spring Glee at Lynn Auditorium Saturday, April 30 at 8 p.m. The event, sponsored by Lucia Lighting & Design, will benefit the Lynn Community Health Center.The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus is one of New England’s largest and most successful community-based choruses. Now in its 28th season, the 175-voice ensemble is celebrated for its outstanding musicianship, creative programming and ground-breaking community outreach.”We are excited to be bringing our message and our music to North Shore audiences. We’ll be singing some fun pop music with a message of tolerance, including Cyndi Lauper’s ?True Colors’ and Christina Aguilera’s ?Beautiful’ plus music from Broadway and even some greatest hits of The Beatles. We’re especially honored to be helping to raise money to support the great work of the Lynn Community Health Center,” says Reuben Reynolds, music director for the Boston Gay Man’s Chorus.In anticipation of record crowds to enjoy the concert, Lucia Lighting & Design secured the Lynn Auditorium that seats over 2,000 and boasts ample and convenient parking.”The Lynn Auditorium is thrilled to host the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus’s Spring Glee concert this spring. We are excited and hope to sell out our 2122 seat house while galvanizing Lynn and surrounding communities in an effort to raise funds for the Lynn Community Health Center,” James Marsh, Lynn’s community development director and general manager of Lynn Auditorium.”The Spring Glee event is shining a bright light on the many attributes of the Lynn community.
