After starting the season 0-3, the Swampscott baseball team has hitched up its boots and turned things around in a hurry.On Friday, the Big Blue had a commanding 7-2 lead against Pentucket before letting the lead slip away in the sixth inning. Swampscott, though, dug deep and scored twice in the seventh to escape West Newbury with a 9-7 win.”Coming back the way we did after losing the lead shows how much these guys want it,” Swampscott coach T.J. Baril said.The Big Blue (3-3) got the go-ahead run in the seventh when Robert Faia led off with a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly.
