SALEM – A Boston felon charged with stealing $50 from his cousin in Lynn last year remains held without bail at the Middleton Jail after pleading innocent.George Walker, 42, of 80 Bismark St., Boston, pleaded innocent at his arraignment before Judge Timothy Q. Feeley on Wednesday in Salem Superior Court to charges of armed robbery and intimidation of a witness.Assistant District Attorney Greg A. Friedholm maintains Walker poses a danger to the victim and the community as he asked that Walker be held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.Defense lawyer Randi Potash stated she needed ample time to review the police record, grand jury minutes and other materials provided by the state and will decide if she will stipulate to the dangerousness or ask for a hearing.Feeley agreed to continue the case to June 3. In the meantime, Walker remains held without bail.The charges stem from an incident in Lynn on Nov. 9 when Walker allegedly robbed $50 from his 23-year-old cousin on Western Avenue.Then on Feb. 14, Walker, along with his female friend, Jamie Lee Duncan, allegedly made threatening calls trying to force the victim to sign a document saying the robbery did not occur. Walker reportedly made the threatening calls from jail.Duncan, 24, of 41 Story Ave., Beverly, also pleaded innocent to a charge of intimidation of a witness and was allowed to remain free on her promise to return to court. Her next scheduled court date is June 3 for a pre-trial conference.
