Robin Kaminski

May 2, 2011 by Robin Kaminski

LYNN – A series of cars were vandalized in the West Lynn area during the late-night and early morning hours of April 30 and May 1.According to Lynn Police Lt. Dave Brown, most of the incidents appear to have involved a BB gun on Grove, Carnes, Salem, Cedar, Federal, Mario and Centre streets. He was not able to elaborate on the incidents, or whether any suspects are in mind due to the ongoing investigation.?I would like to remind citizens that it is important to report any suspicious vehicles or people, at the time that they are observed,” he said. “Ideally, the more descriptive information, such as a license plate or vehicle type, the better the results.”Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call the department at 781-595-2000. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting the word tiplynn and the information to tip411 or 847411. In addition, tips can also be submitted through the department?s website, www.lynnpolice.org and clicking on the submit tip icon.
