LYNNFIELD Police say the Eastern Bank on Salem Street was robbed Monday afternoon.The suspect, described as a white male, 5-feet, 10-inches, wearing a tan colored hat and a gray T-shirt at the time of the incident, allegedly entered the 771 Salem St. bank around 4 p.m.It is not known what direction the suspect fled in, what kind of vehicle he was in or if a weapon or note was shown to a teller. No injuries were reported.The State Police Bank Robbery Task Force is assisting the investigation, but declined to offer any details on the case Monday.Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lynnfield Police at 781-334-3131.
