SAUGUS – A prostitute with hot pink hair and a tattoo of “innocent” scrawled on her neck was busted at the Red Roof Inn on Wednesday after she allegedly offered her services to an undercover officer, according to police.Jeanette Bearden, 44, of 1116 East 215th Place, Carson, Calif., was charged with sexual conduct for a fee and arraigned Thursday at Lynn District Court by Judge Stacey Fortes-White. Bearden was ordered held in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for June 7.According to court documents, undercover Saugus police officers responded to an escort advertisement posted on www.backpage.com that had a listing location of Saugus/Logan Airport. The woman in the photo, later identified as Bearden, had several tattoos and bright pink hair with the name “Carma happenz in Boston.”In her description, Bearden allegedly said she is a “very nice person” and “My main priority is ur peace of mind so that there is nothing to distract u OR me.”Officers texted Bearden’s phone and arranged for a meeting at the Red Roof Inn on Rt.1 for $300 cash after Bearden instructed officers to check out her website and rate and service chart.Several officers set up surveillance as another officer met Bearden in her room. Upon entering, Bearden asked the officer to wash his hands and the two sat on different beds, discussing what would come next. Bearden allegedly said she took pride in her job and stressed that she was different from the other girls in the business.Bearden then held her hand out to the officer and allegedly said if they were going to “do this,” he would have to take his clothes off. At that point, the officer let two other officers into the room, where they placed Bearden under arrest.Upon checking the hotel register, police learned that Bearden had also rented a second room at the hotel for the other people she said she was traveling with.
