LYNN – A motorcyclist was seriously injured early Wednesday when he lost control of his bike and hit a utility pole on Boston Street.According to Lynn Police, two witnesses flagged down an officer around 12:47 a.m. and alerted him to the accident near Pine Grove Cemetery. The heavily damaged motorcycle was found in the middle of the road, and the driver was lying nearby with severe leg and head injuries.Boston Street was shut down to tend to the victim, who was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries. The name of the victim was not released but, according to Lynn Police, he was listed in fair condition Wednesday evening.The accident remains under investigation by the Lynn Police and the State Police Accident Reconstruction Team.
