Lynn woman allegedly trashes apartment

LYNN – A Lynn woman allegedly lost her cool on Sunday when she got into an argument with her husband and her mother and trashed her apartment.Carrie M. Kosch, 26, of 76 Essex St., #2, was charged with domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. She was arraigned Monday at Lynn District Court and released on personal recognizance under the conditions that she take her prescribed medication, stay in treatment and stay away from and not have contact with her mother. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for July 21.According to court documents, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between a mother and daughter on Essex Street. Upon arrival, the 52-year-old victim said Kosch had just left and that the two had gotten into a heated argument after Kosch returned home from her job at Burger King.Kosch allegedly began yelling at her husband and then at her mother for not working. During their brawl, Kosch allegedly whipped a necklace at her mother, striking her on the right bicep, which was bruised from a recent medical procedure.The rant continued when Kosch allegedly flipped over a coffee table, knocking a laptop on the floor, along with all the contents on the table, which went flying across the room. The victim said Kosch left the house in a hurry after she called the police.After leaving the residence, police got a call within the hour that Kosch had returned home and took her into custody.
