Another Saugus water main break expected to snarl commuter traffic

SAUGUS – Another water main has broken on Route 1 in Saugus, this time in the northbound breakdown lane near Kowloon Restaurant.Department of Public Works Director Joe Attubato said this is the fourth or fifth break on Route 1 since Jan. 1 and should snarl traffic for most of the evening commute.?I hope it will get done before midnight at least,” Attubato said around 3:30 p.m.. “Right now, it’s going to be a nightmare with the traffic.”Read the complete story in Wednesday’s Daily Item.
