LYNN – Police are on the hunt for suspects involved in two separate armed robberies this week.The first incident happened on Greenwood Avenue Tuesday night around 9 p.m., where a resident taking out his trash was allegedly ambushed by two Hispanic men in their 20s.?The victim was punched several times and had his U.S. Passport and cigarettes stolen,” said Lynn Police Lt. Christopher Kelly. “The suspects fled on foot toward Essex Street.”Kelly said the victim relayed to police that one of the suspects, who was wearing a black bandanna over his face, lifted his black sweatshirt and motioned that he had a gun, but never actually showed a weapon. The other suspect in the attack was described as a short, heavy-set man with dreadlocks.The second robbery occurred around 1 a.m. Wednesday, when a Charlie Chan?s Restaurant delivery driver was assaulted on New Park Street.Kelly said the driver was struck from behind and robbed at gunpoint of $200 and the food he was carrying by three light-skinned Hispanic men.One of the suspects was described as 5-feet, 9-inches tall with a medium build, and the other two as 5-feet-6, medium build, wearing light-colored shorts.Anyone with information is urged to call the police department at 781-595-2000.
