Antonio Felix had a good game on the mound and in the field as East Lynn defeated Nahant, 6-3, at Peabody West in District 16 play on Tuesday.Felix (“stellar pitching as usual,” said manager Matt Moorhouse) started on the mound for East Lynn, which moves on to play Winthrop on Saturday (time and place TBA).Kenny Sanchez got the game going with a three-run home run for the East Lynners. Yet Nahant got Felix out of the game, with Sanchez coming on in relief.Nahant made it 6-3 and had runners on base with one out in the top of the sixth. However, Felix, now playing shortstop, ended the game with an unassisted double play. East Lynn’s Tyler Way was on the mound for the last two outs.Winthrop 10, Revere 9At Peabody West, Winthrop won on a walkoff single off the bat of Chris Zuffante in the sixth.Revere had taken a 6-0 lead before Winthrop rallied, scoring five runs in the second inning. The game was tied at several points (8-8 and 9-9) before Zuffante’s game-winning hit.Wesley Zambrano (single, double, homer and walk) had a good game for Revere and teammate Oscar Rudecindo, an 11-year-old, continued his run of stellar defense.Philip Antonucci started for Revere before Christopher Straccia came on in the third.BABE RUTHPeabody 10, Saugus 4At World Series Park in Saugus, Saugus led 4-0 after one inning before Peabody scored 10 unanswered runs. Peabody plays Danvers Friday (5:30) while Saugus faces Beverly on Saturday (4). All games are at World Series Park.LEGIONPeabody 5, Haverhill 4At Haverhill, trailing 2-1 in the sixth inning, Peabody scored one in the sixth and three in the seventh to take control. Haverhill got two in the bottom of the seventh for the final score.Ryan McCarthy hit a leadoff double in the sixth and scored to tie the game. In the seventh, Bobby Losanno hit a leadoff double, and Steve Girolamo and George Tsonis hit back-to-back singles as Peabody rallied.Matt McIsaac (5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 5 K, 2 BB) started for Peabody. McCarthy got the win in relief.
