LYNN – Monday proved to be a lucky day for two Lynners.Both Lynn residents Eduardo Ruggerio Brito and David Madden won $1 million by playing the lottery, according to an agency press release.Madden won by purchasing a $10 ticket in the $800 Million Spectacular Instant Game at the Tedeschi?s located at 210 Lewis St., according to a press release.The lottery winner will receive his prize in payments of $50,000 annually for the next 20 years. He plans on helping out his family with his new-found money according to a press release.Madden is a regular customer of Tedeschi?s and comes into the store every day, according to store owner Pervez Chowdhury.?We are very excited,” said Chowdhury. “It is great for business.”Tedeschi?s will earn a $10,000 commission check for selling the winning ticket, according to a press release. “It is good to get a piece of that,” said Chowdhury.While the owner was not there when Madden received his winning ticket, the buzz around the store was contagious. “Everyone was excited,” said Chowdhury. “We haven?t had someone win big like that in years.”The other winner, Brito, took $1 million by playing the Red Sox Monster Money instant game, according to a press release.Brito and his wife Alicia visited the Braintree headquarters and selected the cash option on the prize. The truck driver plans on using his winnings to pay off his bills. He purchased the ticket at Jenny?s Convenience located at 78 Henry Ave., according to a press release.Jenny?s Convenience will also earn a $10,000 commission check for selling the winning ticket.
