SAUGUS – An overturned box truck closed part of Route 1 south in Saugus at about 2 p.m., causing extensive delays on both sides of the highway.Massachusetts State Trooper Steve Brown said there were no injuries and no other vehicles involved.?All the witness said was the vehicle turned sharply to the right and rolled over,” said Brown.The truck belongs to Brito Refrigeration of Salem. The driver and passenger were at the scene but declined to comment.Tow trucks from McGarvey Towing and GJ Towing worked to flip the truck back over and move it off the roadway. Brown said the truck will be inspected to make sure there are no safety violation.?We have our commercial vehicle enforcement section coming down and they?re going to do an inspection of the truck,” said Brown. “We?re going to weigh it to make sure it?s not overweight.”All lanes of Route 1 south were re-opened at around 3 p.m.
