LYNN – Police allege a Lynn teen opened fire at a group of people early Sunday on Brightwood Terrace, and then tossed the weapon onto a nearby front lawn. The suspect, Jimmy Keo, 17, of 14 Clifton Ave., #1, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, illegal possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, two counts of armed assault to murder, improper storage of a firearm, defacing a serial number on a firearm.Keo is expected to be arraigned today at Lynn District Court.According to the police, a call came in around midnight Sunday regarding a fight on Brightwood Terrace. As officers were en route, they allegedly heard four gunshots and saw two victims running through the police department?s parking lot.Police say the victims weren?t very cooperative in the investigation, but a person standing nearby flagged the officers down and allegedly pointed toward Keo.The victims were uninjured in the gunfight, but police say a couple of vehicles in the area were hit by stray bullets. Police say Keo allegedly led them to the weapon, which was found in a front yard on Washington Street. No further information was made available as of press time Sunday.
