SALEM – A Marblehead woman who was the former assistant manager of Sunoco gas stations in Peabody and Haverhill is free on $10,000 cash bail after being arraigned Friday for allegedly participating in the robberies of thousands of dollars worth of cash deposits.Claudia E. Vilorio, 26, of 11 Cressy St., #4, Marblehead, pleaded innocent in Salem Superior Court to two counts of armed robbery before Judge Timothy Q. Feeley. The judge agreed to set the same bail amount as previously set in District Court with the stipulation that Vilorio have no contact with any person at either of the gas stations and stay away from them. The charges arise out of two incidents in Haverhill and Peabody – one in August and one in September 2010 – in which an employee was robbed of the daily deposit bag as he was transporting them to a bank.Investigators learned that Vilorio had worked at both gas stations and reportedly knew when and where the deposits for each of the stations were to take place. She had just been at the Peabody station the day before the holdup there, according to reports.Vilorio faces a potential life sentence on each of the armed robbery charges, if convicted. The investigation into the case is still ongoing, police said.Vilorio, the mother of three children, is scheduled to be back in court on Oct. 7 for a pretrial conference.
