Once again the Gannon Mixed Classic delivered a spectacular finish to cap a stellar summer of golf at the venerable layout in Lynn Woods.Charging from five shots behind on Sunday, the twosome of Stan Glowacz and Sue Don fired a tournament low round of 12-under to finish the 36-hole championship at 18-under, good enough for a two shot win over four teams.Sharing second place were the groups of Judy Johnson-Tim Perullo; Nancy Johnson-Ed Monahan; Carol Mills-Mike Timmons and Tara Friedman-Wayne Johnson at 16-under. Mills-Timmons and Friedman-Johnson each posted rounds of 11 under to make their leap up into contention.Minus-11 seemed to be a common number on Sunday as Nancy Patten and Tom Gaffey also came home at that score to jump from 4-under into solo sixth at 15-under. Kevin Santry-Mary Hunt came in at minus-14.Ann Dawson-Mark Hanna were eighth at 13-under followed by Barb Zihal-Don Foglietta and first round leaders Dave and Diana Brady faded to 10th at 11-under.
