SALEM – A Peabody man and his sister suspected of burglarizing a home on Grover Street in Beverly this summer have been indicted by an Essex County grand jury.Kenneth Sica, 31, homeless, of Peabody, and his older sister, Leslie Sica, 34, no address available at this time, of Beverly, are charged each with breaking and entering a building with intent to commit a felony, larceny from a building and buying and receiving stolen property.Leslie Sica is also charged with five other counts of buying and receiving stolen property. She was arrested after trying to pawn stolen items taken from several homes in Beverly at the Northshore Mall shopping center in Peabody and was released, according to police reports.Assistant District Attorney Jean M. Curran is prosecuting the case.Indictments are not an indication of guilt, rather it is a legal process that allows a case to be transferred from District Court to Superior Court allowing for a more severe punishment.
