Erin Hallinan had 17 assists and Caitlin Thompson did a nice job at outside hitter.Beverly 3, Swampscott 2At Beverly, the Big Blue (0-3) put up a fight. After losing the first match, Swampscott came back and won the next two. The fourth game was a barnburner with Beverly winning, 25-23. The Panthers took the final game 15-8.Swampscott’s Danica Villanueva served 15 times with only one error. Marina Sanchez had three kills and three blocks and Heather Doyle served 13 points with four aces.
